About My Weekend

Hey guys! I don't have an idea for a post or anything, but I thought I'd tell you about my weekend.

For my birthday, we went skating. It was so much fun. I adore skating and though it has took many years, I'm more than decent at it. I'm not amazing of course, but I actually skated the whole time it was open (3 and a half hours) and didn't fall once. I was surprised since we played this one game and I was skating super fast. Four of my friends came with me too, including my best friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. We had a sleepover and stayed up till 2 talking.

Minutes ago, I finished The One by Kierra Cass. That's such a good series. It wasn't as clean as I wish it would have been, but I loved the morals it promoted. The ending was a little rushed, but I was beyond excited when I found out there is going to be two more works. THE HEIR is coming out next year. Yay!

I'll be 15 officially Friday, which is a little hard to believe. But I can't wait:) I'm not going to get my license until I turn 18, a family rule. My dad did say that I can talk lessons next fall. I could have this year, but you needed to sign up in April and he didn't know about it.

Tomorrow the lead single for the soundtrack from Mocking Jay comes out! It's by Lorde. I'm not a huge fan of her, but I love her voice and I think she's perfect for the soundtrack. I adored her cover of "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" last year. Hopefully, Taylor Swift will also contribute since they're friends. Fingers crossed:)

Well, I hope to post a lot this week so stay tune. Thank you for reading!:)

P.S ONE MONTH TILL 1989!

  1. Skating is so fun- was it ice or roller?
I'm almost finished with the elite. My sister was a little sad about some interaction between Maxon and America too, but she was glad it didn't really go anywhere.
    License? Like drivers license?

    1. Yeah, I forgot to mention the "driver" part. Lol. Yeah, I won't tell you why that wasn't as bad as it could have been because I don't want to spoil anything. But I liked how America's romance wrapped up. It was roller skating.

  2. Awh, I'm glad you had a good party!!! I wish we lived closer to each other...I love roller skating, but I don't have anyone to go with and my parents don't want me to go alone =( Wow, 3 1/2 hours without falling! You are much better than me, I'm sure! Awh, I'm sure this next year waiting for driving lessons will go by fast. Where we live you can't get your license until 17, but I do have my permit. It's a lot of fun, but it can be stressful, and it's a lot of work.

    Have a lovely day! =) <3
